Question: What excites you the most about your work?

TS: I enjoy working on people who are stressed and tense; people who are tight and have been working hard. And yet, it thrills me to work on those who challenge my skills to free up muscle spasms on those who are all bunched up in pain and tension and restore them to optimal physical health. My biggest joy is people who come in here barely able to walk and I restore strength and flexibility. That really lights my fire.

I enjoy seeing the results of what I do. And, almost nobody does what I do. There are those who come close but they are few and far between. I’ve only known one other guy who does what I do. His technique is TUI-NA, a simple, mechanical technique. But, his work went beyond the mechanical. He used TUI-NA as a vehicle. Maybe he was a healer. People tell me I’m a healer. Maybe I am. I don’t advertise as such.

Question: I know you like being challenged. What are your favorite challenges?

TS: I do enjoy working on people who’ve gotten up tight and tense. Why, I’ve worked on dancers, trainers, doctors, lawyers, politicians, athletes, musicians, actors and waiters. But what really thrills me is helping people with herniated discs, dislocated shoulders, people who are recovering from major operations and even those recovering from child abuse or similar traumas. I break through stuff like that.

Question: So, you work on more than just the physical well being of your clients?

TS: Even though I’ve been trained in multiple therapeutic techniques, my natural intuition guides me. I’ve developed a whole bag of tricks to loosen people up. The body has memory. I get into those memory spots to free people up.

I free up my clients’ spirit. I work on their Chi. I’ve been trained by some great healers. I work towards providing perfect alignment of the body, soul and the psyche. I’m very spiritually balanced and I think it helps people. I don’t believe in any one theology but I borrow from all of them. When I work on people I don’t just work on their body. I work on their soul. I set them free. I let their beauty and artfulness flower.
